Groll24, the uncompromising German GrAIndcore project, will release its debut EP, “Hausverbot im Appstore” soon via otticmusic / otticmusic AI. The record marks a defiant next step from the outfit that provoked debate with the AI-produced single “Wer KI Musik macht soll in der Hölle brennen” (Those who make AI music should burn in hell) (and its attention-grabbing YouTube companion—now channeling that discourse into a concise, high-impact statement for the age of machine-made culture and human resistance.
The first preview is a soundtrack in tandem with the otticart Tiny Motions series—an evolving collection of brief AI-art video clips. High Speed-shifted riffs, razor-edged blast patterns and weird comic sounds are like a trademark on the instrumental Track “The Kid Emperor (Sped Up)”.
An accompanying official EP trailer, “Ein Tablet Kostenlos,” flips a commercial from the Chinese online retailer Temu into a caustic satire—run through an “AI grinder” until its cheerful veneer fractures into metallic shards.
